Meeting Notes 2.1.11

We got more information on the baseball concessions for this semester. Working at these concessions will help us raise a lot more money for ESG. We will be picking a weekend that works out for most people to do it. Susan set up a survey that you can take so we can get a better idea of when we can have the most people helping out. It is very important if you are interested in selling concessions to go to this website and take the survey.

We are working with Mavericks after Dark for a Spring Break event on Saturday February 26th. We are going to be working at the laser tag station. We would need people to be available to help out Saturday night from 8pm-12am. It is a great opportunity for some hours. If you are interested in signing up, let us know

We are also tabling for the Mavericks after Dark Spring Break U promotion on Tuesday February 22nd from 11-1. If anyone can help out at any of those times please email us and let us know.

We will also be tabling for heart healthy month hopefully on Thursday February 24th from 11-1. If anyone is available for that it would be very helpful. Just let us know!

Relay for Life is coming up. This year it is on April 9-10th from 6pm-6am. This is another great opportunity for more hours and you are not expected to be there the entire time. We have a Relay for Life team started on the website. Be sure to sign up and start fundraising, you will be asked for a $10 "donation fee." The website is

We are also planning on fundraising in the community to raise money for Relay for Life. We were thinking things like a tip night or busing at a restaurant. We really need someone to step up and say they'll be in charge of setting up fundraising activities so we can raise more money for this important cause.

Our next meeting is Tuesday February 15th at 4pm in CSU 202. We will be talking a lot about recruitment and planning for our informational meeting on March 1st for new recruits. It is important that you are at the meeting so you can give your input and help out. Thanks!
