Thank you all for your interest and involvement in ESG. The homecoming clothing has been ordered. Sandy (Secretary) has used the ESG checking account to pay for 50% of it. We ordered way more than we ever have before so we're making a special request to avoid draining our account: If you can please write a check or have exact cash for the items that you got and bring it to the Health Science Workroom on the 2nd floor of Highland North. This way we can put money back into our account before paying for the last 50%.There will be an envelope in our mailbox (top right). Prices are as follows:
Tshirts - $14.55
Long sleeve - $13.90
Sweatshirts - $28.90
Please don't assume that other people will do it and just not do it. It would really help us out.
Next are the events!
RSO Fair is Sept 30th- Contact Anna if you'd like to commit an hour or so of time to working the table. Contact her with any ideas and hours you'd like to do asap (anna.pfeiffer@mnsu.edu)
Anyone who wants to help with homecoming posters please join Vlada and Natalie in the SLD (CSU past the bookstore). Thursday (9/24) starting at 1130 - 1:30. Please help if you can -- we need a few to cover the vehicle for the homecoming parade. The actual event is at noon on Oct 3rd. Please come early to get your shirts if you don't get them at the Oct 1st meeting! Plan on meeting in the parking lot behind the performing arts center from 11:30-11:45am. Most likely you'll have to park somewhere else or just walk. If anyone has ideas as to what we can hand out from the vehicle let Jenica know (jenica.lyon@mnsu.edu)
Susan and Natalie (susan.gerbensky@mnsu.edu and natalie.hazel@mnsu.edu) are in charge of the humane society fundraiser. If you'd like to help or have ideas please contact them directly.
The March of Dimes is holding it's annual Signature Chef's Auction on October 8th at Snell's Indoor Auto Center. They are looking for people from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. in shifts or all day on Oct 8. This is a huge high profile that requires people to be firm in the times they say they're available. So, if people are interested in volunteering, they can e-mail me and I will forward it on to the director of the MOD. Some of the jobs that are available are: Load-In/Set-Up, Garbage, Runners for the Auction, and Tear Down. They will be placed according to the times that they have available. This is also a formal event which means that people need to dress up. What happens is chef's from around MN come in and offer taste tasting. This is a fundraiser that has a Silent Auction and Live Auction. I believe it will be a fun night. If you have any questions, please ask.
PLEASE CONTACT ANNA IF YOU'D LIKE TO DO THIS. anna.pfeiffer@mnsu.edu
